What they are
Otter.ai
Otter.ai records, transcribes, and summarizes spoken audio in real time, syncing words to the original audio so you can search and replay any moment. Podcasters, interviewers, and content teams use it to turn conversations into searchable text without manual note-taking. Transcription accuracy is strong for clear speech but drops noticeably with heavy accents, crosstalk, or poor microphone quality.
Plus AI
Plus AI is a native add-on for Google Slides and Microsoft PowerPoint that generates complete presentations from text prompts, PDFs, and uploaded documents, without routing you to a separate editor. It targets business professionals, consultants, and educators who need polished decks fast and already work inside Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. The Remix and Rewrite tools let you reformat or rewrite existing slides in one click. Output quality is solid for standard business presentations, but the tool struggles with highly technical or specialized content.
