What they are
Krea
Krea is a browser-based AI creative suite that aggregates image, video, 3D, and upscaling models into one workspace. Its signature Realtime Canvas renders your sketch or prompt into a polished image in under 50 milliseconds, with no submit button required. Designers, marketers, and content creators use it to prototype, relight, upscale, and generate video without juggling separate tool subscriptions. The free tier is genuinely usable, but commercial rights require a paid plan.
Substack
Substack is a publishing platform where writers host email newsletters and charge subscribers a recurring fee. Independent journalists, essayists, and niche experts use it to build direct audiences without relying on ad revenue. The platform handles payments, delivery, and a basic website automatically. Substack takes a 10% cut of paid subscription revenue on top of stripe fees, which becomes a real cost as an audience grows.
