What they are
ConvertKit
ConvertKit is an email marketing platform aimed at bloggers, podcasters, course creators, and independent writers who need to grow and monetize a subscriber list. It combines email broadcasts, automated sequences, landing pages, and a paid newsletter feature in one place. The interface is simpler than enterprise tools like Mailchimp or ActiveCampaign, which makes onboarding fast but limits advanced design flexibility.
Higgsfield
Higgsfield is a multi-model AI video and image platform that aggregates 15-plus frontier models, including Kling 3.0, Veo 3.1, Seedance 2.0, and its own Soul 2.0, under one subscription. Cinema Studio adds optical-physics-based camera controls, shot planning via an AI director, and reusable character identities through Soul ID. It targets solo creators, social media marketers, and small production studios. The credit system sounds generous until you run premium models: a Seedance 2.0 clip can cost 90 credits, draining a mid-tier plan in a single session.
